Stepped on…….

Things you are taught when you are young not to do.  The list is very
long.
One night sitting at home I heard this noise outside it was late, it was
about eleven o’ clock .  I turned the lights out in the house and I
eased out the back door being very quite to see what was making the
noise. I walked around the house and it was very dark I could hardly see
where I was going. Not hearing anything, I decided to walk through the
garage to the back yard again.  Standing there and listening I could not
here any noise, so I decided to go back into the house.  When I turned
around and took my first step I stepped on something, and then some thing
hit me in the face! It scared the heck out of me! I was swinging my
arms around trying to hit what ever it was finally grabbing it, I
realized it  was a long handle or a stick of some kind and then I looked
down.  Someone had left a garden rake laying on the ground with the
forks sticking up, let me tell you when the handle of  the rake slapped
me upside of my face I was ready to run, but let me tell you something,
that rake handle put a knot on my head. I was so mad when I finely got
in the house. I was blaming one of the kids.  (BECAUSE I DON’T DO THINGS
LIKE THAT! I WAS TAUGHT NOT TO LEAVE A RAKE, SHOVEL, PITCH FORK, OR A
HOE, LYING ON THE GROUND UPSIDE DOWN RIGHT? RIGHT).  Of course thinking
about it after I had settled down a bit guests who left the rake out
there…I DID!

You have a minute? Take a gander around your house and see if you may
have left something lying around upside down that some one could step
on? You never never know it might end up being you that steps on it!
